11-12-09: Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Chapter is established at Northeastern University

History was made at Northeastern University on November 12, 2009, when thirty-one undergraduate students were initiated into the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. Jennifer Remare, District XVIII Justice, was called upon by Phi Alpha Delta Headquarters to conduct the initiation ceremony. The conclusion of the ceremony marked the beginning of the Northeastern University Pre-Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.
The founding president, Marquis Cabrera, expressed to the new pre-law members, along with friends and family members in attendance, how rewarding it was to see an initial dream become a reality. Moreover, he introduced Nathan Bennet Flemming, who was running for Shadow Representative in Washington, DC. Nathan Flemming, guest speaker, left those in attendance with three things to always consider and remember: 1) We should live in the biggest room on earth, the room for improvement, 2) We should not see our setbacks as final destinations but as transfer points, and 3) We should see our setbacks as setups for future accomplishments. The inspirational speech was a call to action for new members.
